The above link relates to the Kirklees Local Offer which gives children and young people aged 0 – 25 years with special educational needs or disabilities, and their families, information about what is available in Kirklees across education, health and social care.

It covers:

It is more than a directory of services. It brings everything together in one place

Numerous extra-curricular activities are available to children. The clubs are run by both staff and external providers.

Kirklees Music School

If you're looking to have lessons on an instrument or voice, or to play or sing in a group, Kirklees Music School can help. We provide instrumental and vocal lessons to learners of all ages and all abilities both in and out of school time; we offer membership of over 70 ensembles from rock groups to orchestras at our music centres and central ensembles across Kirklees and supply support and delivery services to schools. We believe that everyone should be able to have access to music and all the wealth of social and educational benefits it brings. Over 10,000 instrumentalists and vocalists in Kirklees are already doing just that - come and join them!

My Maths

From Year 1, Maths homework is available on the MyMaths website. Login and password details will be sent out to all pupils at the begining of the school year. If you have any difficulty loging on please contact school.Using MyMaths on a tablet

Using MyMaths on a tablet:

1. Go to App Store

2. Type "flash browser" in the search bar

3. Download free Puffin Educational app

4. MyMaths should now work on your tablet through this app

NB - you can now select a keyboard on your tablet to help do homework or playgames, although some games will be difficult to do on a tablet.
