Celebrating the out of school achievements of our pupils:

Grace 4S

Grace has passed her primary tap dance exam with a merit.

Luna 5L

In November 2023, Luna passed her primary ballet exam with distinction.

 

Aria 4S

Aria plays football for Battyeford and also does art and gymnastics.

Daisy 6O

Daisy competed in an acrobatic competition last year. These are her 6th and 10th place trophies.

Noor 6O

Noor’s talent is Quest Taekwondo.

 

 

Arthur 5M

Arthur enjoys participating in Karate at MASC (Martial Arts Sports Centre) in Mirfield. Arthur has been going to Karate for four years now and attends classes twice a week. He currently has a purple belt but really wants to work hard to eventually get his black belt. The trophies Arthur is holding are those he has won at club Karate tournaments.

Maisie 6H

Maisie’s talent is dancing.  In a recent competition Maisie was one mark away from achieving the highest score in the studio.  Maisie has passed her IDTA Ballet Primary Grade with a distinction.  Maisie has also been awarded ‘Dancer of the Year’ and achieved a Distinction in her primary grade tap exam.

 

 

Riley-James 6O

Riley’s talent is Martial Arts, he attends Black Paw and has achieved his orange belt.

 

William 5M

William is a performer at Stuart Stage School in Heckmondwike. He attends the boys’ class every Monday night. His favourite part is singing.

Umar 4S

Umar’s talent is playing cricket.

Teagan 6O

My talent is Gymnastics.

Rowan 4S

Rowan’s talent is Art and it is his favourite subject.  Rowan loves art and he is good at it.

 

Molly 5M

Molly learns the Piano and also dances at Strive Dance Academy in Cleckheaton. She attends tap, ballet, modern and musical theatre classes. Her favourite is musical theatre and she would love to star in High School Musical one day! 

 

 

Millie 6O

Millie’s talents are gymnastics and ice-skating.

Mia 4MW

Mia attends trampolining competitions. She started trampolining at age of 5.  Mia, recently attended a Yorkshire trampolining competition and was awarded Team gold for DMT (double mini trampoline), Gold on Elite under 9’s Trampoline and Gold on Elite under 9’s DMT.

It was the very first time Mia has competed in a Yorkshire competition Elite category and to come out as Yorkshire champion in all three categories was a dream for her.

Maysa 6O

Maysa’s talent is gymnastics, she goes to TK Gym Fit. This trophy is for a competition where she performed the best floor routine.

Martha 4S

Martha has achieved a range of badges for swimming.  She says that the hardest so far was Water Safety 1.

Lottie 5L

Lottie is a keen dancer and has attended her dance school since the age of 2. She regularly competes in freestyle dance competitions across the North of England & recently scored three consecutive 1st places in the under 10’s category!

Lottie 6O

Lottie’s talent is swimming, she has achieved lots of certificates and badges.

 

Lewis 5L

Lewis has been trying hard with his swimming.  Lewis has passed his Stage 2 and is half way through Stage 3.

Jack 5M

Jack’s talent is Martial Arts, he attends Black Paw.  Jack has been awarded his Green belt & blue stripe belt.

Isabelle 6H

Isabelle does Gymnastics at TSV and has competed in the Yorkshire Women’s Gymnastics.  Isabelle won 1^st place on bars, 3^rd on beam and 4^th overall.

 

Grace 4MW

Grace’s talent is cricket.

Evie 6H

Evie loves to play her piano and has lessons every week. Her favourite piece to play is 'Do you want to build a snowman' by Kristen Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez, from Disney’s Frozen.

Emaline 5M

Emaline is a dancer at The Lauren J Dance Academy. She attends classes in ballet, tap, acro and ariel.

Emaline has also recently made her Brownie promise.

Eesa 6O

Eesa has a talent for solving Rubix cubes and Taekwondo.

 

Cody 5M

Cody plays football for White Rose AllStars. This trophy and medal were won at tournaments when he was U8's, he now plays in the Under 9's. His most memorable game so far was a 3-3 draw which went to penalties and was won by Cody's team! Cody would really like to be a professional footballer when he grows up.

Charlie 4MW

Charlie lost his grandad in 2019 and always does something to raise money for McMillan cancer trust who helped his grandad, this year he decided to complete something in his words ‘massive’ as he hasn’t been able to do this for the past few years.

On 21st August Charlie took park in a 25km triathlon he walked/ran, canoed and biked raising a whopping total over £700 which he was absolutely over the moon about and received a private message from McMillan cancer trust to thank him for his efforts.

Ayla 6O

Ayla’s talent is football.  Ayla scored a hattrick (3 goals) and 2 assists (where you pass the ball to someone who then scores).

Aurora 4S

Aurora is part of Panache Gymnastic Display Squad based in Batley. Aurora has been part of this squad since February 2023 and they have had a fantastic year performing at gala's, in theatres and school fates. Gymnastics has given aurora confidence and strength as well as bringing her new friendships.

 

Arthur 5M

Arthur really enjoys swimming. He has recently passed his Stage 6 Award and is now working towards his stage 7. He would like to carry on swimming, making his way through the KAL pathways to becoming a competitive swimmer in the future. Just keep Swimmin' Arthur!

Arlo 1T

Arlo is a keen rugby league player and fan. Here he is with his trainer of the week trophy and certificate.

Archie 6O

Archie’s talent is football.

 

Amelia 6H

Amelia’s talent is Netball.  Amelia has been selected to join the West Yorkshire Under 11 Netball Team.  Amelia was awarded runner-up for exceeding in her modern class and also a certificate of achievement for hard work.  Amelia received a preliminary medal in her IDTA Ballet exam and Bronze in IDTA Contemporary Modern Jazz exam.

 

 

Almira 6O

Almira’s talent is Art, she loves drawing.
