Cover Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our team of Cover Supervisors, working 27.5 hours per week, term time only.   The post is suitable for someone with experience of working within an educational setting.  You will be class based in UKS2 as an Educational Teaching Assistant but will provide short term cover in lessons across the whole of the Curriculum and school when a teacher is not available, using plans and resources provided by them. The role is paid at Grade 7 irrespective of the amount of cover provided. 

The successful candidate will: 

• Have knowledge and understanding of the needs of children and a passion for their learning.
• Have knowledge of the curriculum and assessment.
• Have the ability to respond positively to last minute changes.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work as part of a team, build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Contribute to the further development of our school by going ‘the extra mile’.
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children.

Relief Lunchtime Supervisors

Our successful school was inspected by OFSTED (March 2019) and graded ‘Good’ with ‘outstanding’ behaviour and safety. We are looking to add to our bank of relief Lunchtime Supervisors to support the school on our journey to ‘outstanding’.

You will be responsible for the supervision of pupils on the school site throughout the midday break and will assist in securing the health, safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils, supporting the practices and procedures of the school under the direction of the Lunchtime Manager.

The role requires flexibility and applicants would be required at reasonably short notice.
